Pesadelo Macabro

Pesadelo Macabro  is a first-person horror game where the player finds themselves trapped within a nightmare and must escape from Papa Figo, a legendary figure from Brazilian folklore, known primarily in Pernambuco, Bahia, and Paraíba.

The player controls a university student who, after spending several hours researching Pernambuco folklore, exhausted, falls into a deep sleep and ends up experiencing a supernatural encounter. There, she discovers the terrible fate of those caught by the monster and uses all her cunning to save herself and the child also trapped in Papa Figo's house.

This project was developed with the intention of being evaluated as a final course project at the Catholic University of Pernambuco in the year 2023.

The development time for the project was approximately three months, during which we conducted target audience research, developed the idea, and created the prototype.

To install the project, simply download the file, unzip it, and run the file with the game's name.

Pesadelo Macabro é um jogo de terror, em primeira pessoa, onde o jogador se vê preso dentro de um pesadelo em que precisa escapar do Papa figo,  uma figura lendária do folclore brasileiro, conhecida principalmente em Pernambuco, Bahia e na Paraíba.
O jogador controla uma estudante universitária que, após passar várias horas fazendo uma pesquisa sobre o folclore Pernambucano, exausta,  cai num sono profundo e acaba vivendo uma experiência sobrenatural. Lá ela descobre o destino terrível de quem é pego pelo monstro e usa toda sua astúcia para salvar a si e a criança que também está presa na casa do Papa figo.
Esse projeto foi desenvolvido com o intuito de ser avaliado como projeto de conclusão de curso na Universidade Católica de Pernambuco no ano de 2023.

O tempo de desenvolvimento do projeto foi de cerca de três meses, onde começamos com pesquisas de público alvo, desenvolvimento da ideia e do protótipo.

Para instalar o projeto, basta fazer o download do arquivo, descompactar e executar o arquivo com o nome do jogo.
